volkswagen r32 vs swapped CRX vs LT1
volkswagen has intake, chip, exhaust, and is gettin a tune soon.
CRX has fully built B18 type R motor, type R trans, limited slip, and fully adjustable suspension. skinny garbage tires.
Lt1 has longtubes, magnaflow, subframe connectors, 160 thermo, and a tune. car is auto has 2.73 axle, and 275 eagle f1's. 280 WHP 310 TQ
races will be dig, 30 roll, and 50 roll. whos gonna come out on top????
my predictions. vw is gonna OWN fro ma dig. my car runs HARD from a 30 roll, so I think I got it. but the honda might get me out the back door on the 50 rollLast edited by LT1 > LS1; 03-28-2009 at 07:37 PM.

a type R motor pushes 195hp and if its built, i wouldnt know how much but if he is N/A probably 240 FWHP tops. My friends RSX type S built motor pushed 250 FWHP, only comparison i can come up with even though not the same car. R32 has about 236 HP under the hood with those mods he has and AWD more drivetrain loss would probably be at the most 215 AWHP and your being at 280 RWHP should be able to pull above 80mph, biggest problem would be the auto. Either way its a guess and really no one knows till the races go down, be safe and GL.

I think weight is going to be one of the deciding factors here. Why is it no one mentioned it before? The CRX weights less than 2500 pounds I'm sure, even with less power the weight makes up for it. You may take it from the dig though with more torque depending on how hard you leave.
FAST 90/90, SLP Lid, Kooks JetHot Coated LT's, American Racing Y-Pipe+Magnaflow Cats, DHM Electric Cutout, Flowmaster American Thunder Catback, HP Tuners Software, 343 rwhp.

the r32 should be right at around 3400lbs atleast. they are kinda heavy.
the previous owner of the CRX said it went 13.3 at the track.
