Took the vert to the track
First trip to the track this season, Any way I took the red rag top to Phenix City this Sunday.
I had to put my stock rear end back in the car last week, the 4.10's started roaring. so I had my 3.42's in instead of the 4.10's but I was not too disappointed, for an 1/8th mile pass.
I went a 7.92 @ 89.82 with a 1.84 60' time . then after some cool down time and letting the drag radials down to 28lbs, I launched it @ 3,400 rpm on the foot brake and backed the time up with a 7.75 @ 91mph with a 1.71 60'
I think with the 4.10's and some slicks it might have some 7.50's or 7.60's in it.
If I can get it to hook with the 4.10's I might put my wet kit on it and see what happens.
Here is a pic of the 1.71 short time, looks like the wheels are up.
here is a short vid sorry for the resolution of the vid and pic, camera phone sort of sucks.

ls1 with. mildly ported 241 heads , just enough to clean up the casting marks on the intake and exhaust ports, in other words I did it my self with a ROTO TOOL and some sanding wheels. 918 springs , custom length push rods, heads cut 0.30 yielding around 10.95 to 1 compression , and pistons fly cut for valve clearance ,
custom cam ground on 112 cl, Ls6 intake, AIR, CAT and EGR delete, long tubes, ported polished and knife edged throttle body with coolant by pass, stock mass air with custom ends, 1998 injectors, homemade bellow free air mod, SLP lid K&N filter, 160 thermo, Trans tuned to shift at 6,700 rpms at WOT, and launched at 3,300 rpms.
yank ss 3600 converter, 3.42 gears, boxed LCA's and lower relo's , drag radials.
Tuned with HP tuners, by Tony and Rodney, to the sum of 428 RWHP.
Basically a cam only car with a whole lot of TLC and tuning.

Nice. I figured trappin 89mph, you definitely weren't stock. I trap a lil over 86, but don't have anything special. Really want heads/cam package. 7's would be super nice.
