    BLK TA modded 12.2@113mph

Running 12.5 at 109mph is my best time EPS 222/226 cam

I can't get my 60 foot lower than 1.88 and It runs pretty consistent at 12.4 to 12.5 all night long from 109 to 110mph I have a Yank SS3200 my buddy has a TCI 3000 and he hits 1.7 60 foot all the time and he nailed a 12.3 he has 354rwhp and 344ft lbs of torque I have 364.9 rwhp with 346ft lbs of torque same mph at the track but he hits a better 60 foot and traction is a non issue maybe its because my tires are 1" higher than his on the back and wider and bigger is why he is getting a better 60 foot than me"gear ratio difference"?????
I'm launching at 2000 to 2500 rpm I tried at 2800rpm but it doesn't make a difference on 60 foot or time slip . I can't wait to try the smaller slicks to see the difference that will be in the next 2 weeks

Yes, try different tires, also try to just punch it off the line, no load, see if the stall likes it better that way. I run a 12.74 at 110 mph and that's all on 330hp with stock stall still, I have also taken some weight out of the car, no front sway bar, and on 26" M/T et streets. Just keep playing with it until you find the sweet spot.

a different tire may help but like stated before flash the convertor and see if that helps meaning leave it at idle and punch it when you get the green light. i had a 228r with a 3400 fuddle and it prefered to be flashed but was running 11.9's on slicks with decent 60' times however you should be a little faster according to your mph. i was trapping 114-115 consisently so that changes the times some

I'm surprised even with my mph I was hoping 112mph or so with my 222/226 cam ls6 intake and 365 rwhp and 346ft lbs of torque You did well I was going to buy a 228r now I regret I didn't I was told this cam would be a beast I gained 55rwhp and 30ft lbs of torque with the cam and Kook headers

What kind of elevation and weather conditions are you running in?

That's a small cam (mine is even smaller) I would expect a better mph like you mentioned. I've hit 112 with mine and it's a baby 210/218 cam, LS6 intake and headers, that's all I had at the time.

Here in AZ the track is about 1200 ft elevation, and DA that day was 2800 ft. Hotter days even worse.

Keep pecking away at it and you'll find what the car likes.

I'd try a transbrake, and 26" tall tires

i have traction problems with my 04 gto at the track. i am running a tsp 228/234 598/605 112 lsa cam and i spin my dr's in 3 gears, the best i have gotten is 12.70 @ 109. that time was with the stock clutch. i have not ran it down the track with the dr's since the ls7 clutch package install and the solid 1000 hp alluminum driveshaft. my cam has been in a little under 4 yrs and and it made 399.58 rwhp and 389.42 rwtq. it litterally blows off the tires under hard accelleration, and still gets 24 to 26 on the hwy.
Those are very good times with those small cams.

Sounds like some suspension upgrades would help you quite a bit. I have a lot more power than you and my car dead hooks on drag radials with a 4.11 gear once I get rolling out of first. I don't even get a chirp shifting into 2nd.

yepi need them very bad. stock suspension still. but i am running the pos irs suspension in my gto. slicks is what will make my gto grab and i do not have any at this time. i have been into the 11's 2 times when my son took it to the track, but i never heard how fast it was. gto's have a shitty weight distribution in the back. our irs rearends do not grab at all. and drag bags are the only help we have other than slicks. or change to a solid rearend like you are running 35th. but that will cost close to 2200$. not going to happen.
