new times, finally low 8's
Ran @ Mooresville last night...
8.15 @ 87.6 mph with a 1.79 60'. I was really happy with it, feel like it has a bit more in it for next week too.
2000 Z28 6 speed...lid, headers, catback, 4.10s' and drag radials.

Great run, did you find out why the ABS light came on?

Yeah it went off right as I went down the road. It trips on the dyno too - I think it had to do with all of the burnouts I was doing...since the front wheels weren't moving and the rears were, the abs system wasnt too crazy about that

Nice times. What type of suspension setup do you have (i.e. LCA's, panhard rod, etc..)?

I didn't read the part about the 4.10's. Besides the ring and pinion gear, what else is needed for the swap to the 4.10, and can a 3.90 be put in? I'm going to be swapping out the 3.42's in the near future, so I just wanna hear your impressions.
Thanks

There are no 3.90's available for our cars, which is sad, because it would be the perfect compromise between a 3.73 and 4.10. The only thing you need is a new crush sleeve & new pinion nut, but it is a good idea to change out the bearings while you have it all apart...I wrote a how to for it that covers it.

Ahh i'll pass on installing the ring and pinion, but thanks for the link. I believe i'll have to pay additional money, as my car has the Torsen LSD. Cute pic, you definitely don't look like my mechanic
I'll be getting the 4.10's, provided I keep this car.
