I know anyone with an LT1 T/A is gonna flame me, but I have never been impressed with LT1 T/As. The LS1s run awesome, but I have never seen a stock LT1 that wasn't a Z28 break into the 13s, especially the autos. You'll kill him, and I don't think that's an understatement

Being He's a WS6 A4 He might edge You off the line and maybe even get 1 to 2 car lengths on You. But his lead wont last. And if you get the jump it will be very ugly.
The only thing I would check first is what kind of WS6. Are you sure He is not an LT4, if he is a LT4 car and He gets the jump, you will need more then a 1/4 mile to catch up to Him.

Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6
If you can drive your M6 you have no worries. I'd predict 2-3 car lead easy.

have you ever ran your car at the track? what kinda of times did u turn??
I raced my friends 97 LT1 T/A when i had a lid/catback vs his intake/catback. both cars are M6's and we both can shift like we were born to.
the first 60' were close.. then he became just another object in my rearview mirror, getting smaller and smaller.

My friend has a 94 z28 m6 with 3:73 bone stock engine and I have a 96 T/A M6 with just induction and air foil. My 98 Formula M6 kills both BAD on the street. Have not ran them at the track but on the street it was sad. My buddy thought his new gears were great until he raced me..

Bought it new in 97 with .5 miles on it. Trailered it home, and has not moved in 9 years.

Most LT1 cars will run low 14's completly stock.. even if your a bad driver you should nose him out. LT1's do respond well to mods, especially head/cam as the heads are the bigest setback on LT1's.
