Launching Tips?
I want to take my new 408ci 500HP (RWHP) engine to the strip. Wondering what is a good launching method w/ a stock rear end and radials should be.
It does bog down when you try to dump the clutch to get a nice 60ft which is unacceptable.
Where should I stall it at, where should I feather it so I dont spin most of the way? Many other questoins but I know there are some of you guys that can give me some pointers out there.
Thanks in advance.

Be careful when launching, your on borrowed time with the stock 10 bolt. Personaly i would feather it out of the hole to eliminate the spinning and preserve the rear end a little while.
Depending on where your power band is pretty much determines where you bring your rpm to. Its more or less a trial and error until you find your sweet spot, or the rear end pops, whichever comes first.

My money is on the rear breaking before you even make it to the track...
