Did someone have to wake him up to let him know to go? That's possibly the worst reaction time I've ever seen! lol. Based on him mph he should be well into the 10's but it figures that he barely scraped into the 11's.

The reaction time could definitely just be the driver TRYING to get a good 60'. Supra driver needs a MUCH better 60'. I can understand your being 2.something but that guy needs to practice alot more or get some tires/suspension with that MPH.

Or he's like me and doesnt care about R/T's if this was a test n tune then the RT doesnt matter. he probably just wanted to concentrate on his run and get the best time possible, i never pay attention to who's next to me at the track. i just wanna make sure everything goes good for me so i can squeeze out a good time.
chances are he was sitting at the line building boost and going when the time was right for him.

I'm betting he stayed on green while trying to build boost too launch. Seen that befor. Saw a Lexus GS 300 with giant FN turbo take like 3 seconds after the green cause he was still building boost too launch. Thing ran like stink .

Yeah. Last time i went to the track i went with 2 buddies, 1 of them owns a decently built 95 supra, single(big) turbo, car traps mid 120s. His sixties were shit. 2.2 or worse. He would build boost off the 2 step, launch and bog near the point of stalling. even after such a shitty launch he would bust out 120+ traps. He was also running M/T slicks.
So chances are, this is very similar scenario

Turbo stick cars are very hard to get dialed in, you launch hard then boost comes on cause your under load and the tires blow off before you can even react. Buddy of mines best time is a 12.1 in his turbo 5.0 with et streets, his best trap speed is 129mph. Takes suspension, tires and time to get it right.

Car looked well buit
but my point is that if this was a heads up 1/4 mile cash race I would have won with a nearly stock car

If the guy in the lane next to you was treating it like a heads up race you have no idea what would have happened. I have seen people wait for almost a full 10 seconds after the green light. They are trying to get the car dialed in and or the best time of the night. Reaction time means little.

unless you are improving on your reaction
Im not saying that the out come couldn't have been diffrent
I could hear him reving to the sky and when the light went green he went like he was driving a comuter car [to keep traction] then he caught up and flew by but I made it first
it was a great race for me leave it to the world to try to take away a win

Oh yeah i know they are very hard to launch and what goes on, i was just stating what happened.
no one can take shit from you. you have the time slip but we dont want you going out and trying to take down built supra's and then wondering why lost haha. so either way, good race. but youre sixty can improve a lil
