    How's this sound

Mods to my car are ebay LT's, p&p throttle body, slp lid, k&n filter, 4.10's, tune, free mods and some suspension work. My car has ran a best of 12.81 with a 1.74 60' at 112.33 mph at about 5995 DA give or take some. My question is, does my mph seem to high for the time? Wouldn't that mph be capable of low 12's maybe a high 11? Would my time improve a whole lot at a lower DA?

I did the drag times calculations and got a "corrected time" of 11.85 @ 121.32 MPH... WTF? For a bolt on LS1?

I agree. You should be in the low 12's or high 11's with a 112.33 trap speed. Still great times for a bolt on car.

Nice run Edgar. Lower DA would help but still not a bad run at all.
    Car sounded good as well

If that DA reading is right, you could gain 1/2 second with better air alone with all other circumstances remaining the same.

112 mph is good for very high 11's with a good 60, more common to see a very low 12 second run in a street car though. You would need sticky tires and a rather high rpm clutch dump. How lucky do you feel with that 10 bolt

Good run though, clean pass, about all you can expect for what you have to work with. 4.10's really wake these cars up.

Thanks guys! Yeah I would usually launch at 3500rpm and those tires were M/T ET streets 26 inch tall, I wonder how much better my time will get here in Oklahoma with a lower DA (not much lower, about 2500ish lower). Then again I no longer have the ET streets and now I have 555r's... I can't wait to take it out here but I'm terrified of busting my 10 bolt right now since she is currently my DD.

If you have the funds for a new rear I would say beat the tar out of the 10 bolt until it gives up. Then you can get that Moser 9" you always wanted.

I gotta wait till I pick up a DD, so my baby can go back to just sitting during the week and playing on the weekends and if it breaks I could afford to have her sit for a week or so while I await parts and do the install, I also need a garage.

If it breaks right now then my wife wouldn't have a way to get to work
