high 12s is very optimistic for a relatively stock car. Not that it's impossible but certainly not probable. People are always asking this question and it's too hard to answer because so much depends on the driver. If you are good at getting your car out of the hole I'd say low 13s maybe a high 12. If not you could be looking at mid 13s and if you really suck high 13s.

That track is hard to run a good time on street tires. I drove my 99 1le car to the Lex. picked up a friend of mine and on to Clay city the day I got in 99 had 150 miles on it and ran a 13.09 @ 107 with a 2.01 60'. That was in March and good weather and the track didn't hook good at all that day I was getting off the line okay but when I hit 2nd gear I would spin hard. I had to ease 2nd a little or a think I could have run 12's showroom stock. Keep trying the track is totally diff. on dr's its alot easier.

just ran 13.24 2.12,60ft. stock with some drag radials 2500 launch. I tried to launch between 4 and 5 thousand and the clutch wouldnt hold.. so much for the new ls7 thats supposed to hold over 500 horse.

2.12 on drag radials. You can go even quicker with a better launch.

I've been telling people forever that ask about clutches not to go LS7 if they're gonna drag the car. It's a stock clutch. A Z06 is what? 500lbs lighter. They never listen.

MPD T&T this past Friday and had great traction w/26x10 M/T. Even w/ 13.5psi, second and third hit so hard I thought I was losing a tire! Once the sun went down and I removed my exhaust back to the Y pipe and times got better. 12.72 from 13.09 w/full exhaust.
A 5k launch is far better than a 3k for me. 12 bolt & Centerforce clutch w/ upgraded puck disc never slips. best 60 is mid 1.7s, 12.37@112... that was a couple of years ago.
SLP LT&3'' Y pipe did the most to add HP.
    POS Tremec slows me down.
