has anyone ran there car with 2.73, swap to 3.73 and see hudge gains

right now im at 13.08 @107 with 1.993 60ft on shitty street tires 2.73 ratio


i wanna get the 12 bolt rear with 3.73 and some nitto 555, but i also want this mode to give me a .5 gain at least

I went from 2.73 to a 3.73 in a car of mine , and the difference was night and day. It was if I installed a different motor. I am sorry to say that I do not have any times for you.

I did the same to my TA. Went from a 2:73 to a 3:42 to a 3:73 in a very short time. Most of my times were 1/8th mile times. When my car was bone stock with 2:73's it went a best of 9.00 at 79 mph. After 3:73's and all the free mods and a set of dr radials it went a 8.60 at 86 mph. Note, those are 1/8th mile times. Not bad for free mods and a gear. I think I could of got more mph but it's an auto car and I hit the rev limiter goin inta 2nd gear and it was very hot that day. Hope this helps ya.

took off a 1/2 sec with borla 3.73 and MTI lid w/n and free ram air mod. 13.10 was my best w/ that set up on street tires with an A4.
