first time at track with goat 13.98@101
I went to the track last night, and it is at 5800 ft. above sea level, temp. about 73 deg. absolutely no wind, 39% humidity and great track conditions and the cars all seemed so slow, I seen L-S1 F-bodies running 14.3-14.5? 03-04 cobras running 13.8-14.1? so I gave her a shot and wound up with a 13.98@101, but I was wondering if the elevation would take almost a full second off my time, because I've never raced at any other track, with my old G.T.O.s , I know what they run. but I've heard everybody say a stock 05-06 g.t.o. will run low 13s-very high 12s, but maybe that's with slicks and at sea level? anybody know how to convert 5800 ft. e.t. times to sea level e.t.s? thanks

Taht elevation will take a second off your time, I think actualy correction figures are .9-1.1 seconds for that track, but I havn't looked to verify. With a DA of 6000 here I couldn't pull better than a 13.9, and the other stock f-bods couldn't either. at sea level you would be running pretty good
