you have an awesome MPH!!! Just try to get your 60' in the 2.0-2.1 range and your ET will drop dramatically.

At what RPM do you shift.

Man if I can expect to run around a 14 with my Camaro with the mods I have, which are similar to yours, I'll be damn happy.

1st run i had it tached at around 1500, the 2nd around 2100, and the 3rd 1800. I shift just before redline i listen to it dont really look at the tack i think i need a shift light though.

Yes, a shift light would definately be beneficial, particularly since you've been shifting 'by ear'.

Your data suggests that a slightly higher rev, I'd bet 2400, would assist you in a quality launch and lower 60 ft time.

What kind of grip are you getting off the line? Is there lots of spin or complete grip?

Practice letting out the clutch at varying rates and see what effect it has on your launch. Use a metrinome if you have to.

Run through all of your gears before you stage to get the kinks out and get a good feel for where your shift points are.

Don't bother shifting into 4th until you've really got the time to do so, and can do it quickly. For every moment that you're not under acceleration, the wind is pushing you slower. Air resistance is higher the faster you go, and you'll lose more speed shifting from 3 to 4 than you will from 1 to 2.

RT is a lower priority until you master your run. Learn your launch RPM, master throwing out the clutch, streamline your shifts, and find your bottlenecks. Don't even go when the light turns green. Go when you're ready. Once you've got your moves down, then work on the RT.

You are spinning like crazy coming out of the hole. If your own streets tires, it might not be you. It might be track conditions like ricer water on the track. I struggled with traction issues for 1 and a half years, just not as bad as you. You might have to get you some better tires. This is what I did. I went over to Summitracing.com and got myself some 15" steel wheels for about $80. Then I put some dedicated track tires and changed them at the track.Even if you partially hook, you will go right down into the low 13's. Your slips are telling me that you are spending way too much time spinning out of the hole

focus on your first 2 gears....(1st gear especially) thats where your losing time... for your mods 14 flat isnt bad... but a better 60ft will get you in the 13s in a hurry..

Well I've only test driven it, I pick the car up this Saturday. But it's good to know the car hauls ass. Not sure if I'll ever really take it down the track though...only time will tell!

It was spinning and getting a little sideways on the launch. So it sounds like more practice and learnin the car is the best bet along with some drag radials and a shift light when i get $.

Dude Get some drag radials and Practice that launch....
You can should be at 2.0 to 2.1 60 Ft times on Street tires
DR's will get you to 1.8 to 1.9 60 fts.
