first run in a year

Well this past Friday night I went out to the track and got 13.06 @ 112 mph w/ 2.08 60'. I couldn't get any traction what so ever and never really put the car to the test. It needs a tune up very very badly.

(It runs real rich) The other two runs were 13.1 @ 108 mph w/ 2.05 60' and 13.2 @ 106 mph w/ 2.06 60'. Reaction time averaged around .750 I would say. Just wanted to share my bad times. Its got a date with the tuning doctor on Monday to get her ratio's and fixed and see how much hp and tq I have.

Any ideas on how I can improve?

what mods do you got, 13.06 your creeping on 12's. times look good, but if traction is a issue try some DR's to start.

stage 2 ported heads 59 cc
224/224 581/581 112 comp cam
hooker ceramic lt's w/ y pipe
lca, sfc, stb, mt street radials
stock rear w/ 3.73's.

I got an appt with the tuning doc on monday cause she runs like shit and runs really rich. I don't want to burn up the rings or anything. How much would a set of DR's cost me?

Those are my same times with the same mods minus heads, cam, and suspension. I thought i was going to see 12's with my setup too.. I was really dissappointed.

well I'm expecting to run deep into the 12's if everything goes as planned.

Thats sort of a big minus, W/o those mods you shouldnt be disappointed with 13s

looks like you already have DR radials but there 300+ for a pair

true... but I'm not happy with the times. I hope after it gets tuned it will run better. I try to feather it off the line since I still have the stock rearend.
