Finally hit a full 1/4 mile track

Here are a couple of runs that, even though not completely error free are a reasonable representation of how my car will run with the calculated DA of 1124'.

    60' 1.636
    330' 4.930
    660' 7.718
    MPH 88.03
    1000' 10.121
    1320' 12.148
    MPH 111.31
The car tapped the rev limiter ever so slightly on the 1-2 shift. We were trying too hard.

    60' 1.593
    330' 4.887
    660' 7.667
    MPH 88.55
    1000' 10.058
    1320' 12.075
    MPH 111.82
Once again tapped the rev limiter on the 1-2.

My last outing at my local 1/8th mile track the calculated DA was -1542' so that pretty much explains why my car was so much slower up to the 660' tonight as compared to the last track visit. My car has gone to the 330' in 4.70 and to the 660' in 7.48 in good air and that was on a bad tranny. My overweight (3700+ with my 300 pound hired gun driving) SS needs to go on a diet and try again if we get some decent air again.

So, I found out a few things tonight. 1. DA makes a helluva difference in how my car runs. 2. Even slightly touching the rev limiter during a pass makes a noticeable difference on the timeslip. 3. My Stock Internal car needs good air (a lot better than we had at Dinwiddie last night) to run 11's without making a perfect pass.

PT4000 converter, Moser 12 bolt w/3.90 gears, Hoosier Quick Time Pro tires in 26 x 9.5 x 16 size, UD crank pulley, Hooker LT headers and a Jeff Creech tune. It put down 328.9 to the tires.
