    drag tire

    Anyone running a 15x10 on the back and if so what is a good tire that hooks at the track. Ill be pushing about 520 on the spray out of the gate. I'd like to keep the height at 27 inch because I have 355 gears

    well it seams u know every thing ur looking for but a brand... m/t it what i see 75% of the time if they weant good no one would use em

    Put on Mickey Thompson drag radial. They will hook every bit as good as a slick.

    520 hp on RD's u can do it but u better have the car set up or ur going to blow them off like street tires

    I run a 275-60R15 MT radial (28" height) with a 3.50 gear, works good, only time I see wheel spin is when they are wore out down to the cords. Nice thing about the radials is you run more air pressure so they handle much better

    Well as i posed mark ur car is set up.... if u take ur the power of ur car and put on to a stock set up DR's might not hold the power ....

    If the car is not set up suspension wise then it will not hook whether he runs a slick or drag radial.

    Nothing's better for hooking than a true slick. However, you might not need it, depending upon your setup and goals.

    Is the car an A4 or M6?
    What is your rpm limit?
    What is your best guess for finish line mph?
    Stock-style suspension or more race oriented (not talking just basic bolt-ons)?

    also note that ur going to want to know gear's and hope u know that with a 3 link u can run as good as a 4 link just have to know what ur doing... so race type set up is stock.... with zero adjust ablitly.... takes mark98ss hes got full set up springs shocks adjustable lcs tq arm and deag sway bay a long with the 500+ rwhp and he can use drs... but if he wanted to realy get his 60s down he could go with a bigger stall and softer tires and realy get outta the hole.... u can have 1000 hp ls1 cars with drs and still be fine hell i have seen a 1200 hp camaro run mid to low 9s on drs but he cam out of the hole like grandma going to the store
