    My rev limiter was starting to hit going out of 3rd and 4th gear on some of my later passes that I made. It even hit a couple of times on some of these passes.My 4th was the best. What would it take to get 11.99 ??
    Cam is 228/236,588/578,114
    Heads are factory ported/polished with new valves and all the goodies to go with them,3400 stall. 275 40 17 M/T drag radials at 18psi.QA1's up front set at 5 and comp engineering rear shocks set on 50/50 setting with stock springs.

    Here is another pass I made the same day. My 60 ft was crap big time spin.This could be an 11.99 pass if I could get my 60ft down correct ???

    Your 112 trap is getting there. Like stated above get that 60' down the closer to 1.7 or 1.6 and you should be in the 11's. Watch the DA also. With a high DA you could fight 12.00's all day and wonder... I would be concerned about banging off your rev limiter. In a A4 that is usually the first sign tha a tranny is going. Check your tranny fluid lvl.

    See this is where my weakness is rev limiters and shift points are kind of new to me. My tranny shifted ok on the way home. I know that has to be a good sign,lol. It never hit untill I got this new tune . The tune did give me more power though. Some say raise the limiter or should I lower the shift points ? I think I am at 6700 but I could be off 100 rpm on that. I cant remember. Also it got worse as the day went on so I stopped running. I think it was worse going out of 4th.1st and second was fine and strong.

    Need to confirm this with some who had to deal with it. Reasons for bouncing off rev limiter correct me if I am wrong here.
    Limiter set to low ?
    Shift points to high ?
    Trans problems ?
    How do you know ?
    Anything else ???

    Have been through 2 trannys. First one started bouncing off the 3 to 4 shift. It then made its way to the 2 to 3 shift. Had the tranny rebuilt and both 2nd and 3rd bands were burnt. Rebuilt tranny started bouncing off of 3 to 4 shift. Took it back to the rebuilder the 3rd band showed signs of slipping it has been solid since. I moved both shift points and rev limiter. On both trannys I did not start bouncing unil I felt slippage. Both times the rebuilds proved the tranny had been slipping.

    Um so if the tranny is shifting ok during normal driving/cruizing around it most likley is ok ? Or can it just act up during a race ? and drive like new on the way home. I dont know what to do right now. Lowering my shift points on 3rd and 4th would a safe way to find out ? Thanks in advance to all here.

    As long as I didnt go WOT it shifted fine on the second rebuild. Towards the end on the orignally tranny it would bang off the limiter at 3/4 throttle and started to get worse.
