from a roll his truck is probably gonna take you I have a 05 dodge dually with the 6-gun and exhaust and mine is pretty quick for a 7000 lb truck I can't imagine what it would be like with the twin turbo setup and if his is an auto it will be an easy race for him mine is a 6-speed very long throws so if you can get some gears and race 1/8 mi just a suggestion

Well if hes stock then you will have no problem what so ever beating him from a dig or a roll, and a 04-06 cummins is a single turbo not twin

Stock i'd say yes. My buddy has a 2005 duramax lifted and sitting on 38's but he has new injectors in it and programer and a bunch of other stuff. And will hang with my car up to about 80 then i pull on him and leave him. But never underestimate deisels man now days they will fly.
It is What it is.

You will win. The cummins is a fast truck but you are in a TRANS AM if he is stock you will completely stomp his ass. Take his money and spend it on some mods.

I ate a newer gen hemi-dodge when I had my GTP, although he had about 100HP extra on paper the weight and power distrubution were nowhere near my cars. I'd say the only truck out there I'd be concerned about is a ford lightning stock. Otherwise I'm pretty confident saying you'd pull it off.

Carefull it may look like a big huge heavy fullsize pick-up but "the Viper-powered 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10, which the manufacturer calls "the boldest, baddest and fastest full-size pickup ever." The truck houses the highest displacement engine in a factory pickup truck--the same 8.3-liter V-10 that powers the all-new 2003 Dodge Viper.
If it's power you're after, this truck sets out to deliver it, with 500 horsepower and 525 lb.-ft. of torque. The truck goes from 0 to 60 in approximately five seconds and tops out at about 150 mph." Take a long look before you lay down money. Anything is possible these days.

Even with a chip and or programmer there is nothing to afraid of. My buddy has a 2006 cummins with a chip and yes its fast for a big truck. It blows a bunch of black smoke out and makes a lot of noise but its still slow compared to a fbod. My stock a4 Lt1 would have handed his ass to him. The top speed w/ the chip was right around 97 mph. It would take a lot of money to make one as fast as a Ls1.

i think you should be good. ive seen people put a lot of money into a 8000 pound truck to make it run in the 12's which is impressive for a truck but not so much for an f-body plus he would have to more than double your power in order to keep up with power to weight ratio
