another trip to the track

went to the track again,only second time on this setup and ended up running slower but the track is higher in elevation and the D.A. was over 6000 today as compared to 4000 on the last outing so im not real upset

ran a 10.7 at 126 with that shitty air so not too bad i dont think,but my buddies turbo 408 trans am is going to be impressive

he cant spool it off the line so he ended up with a 11.67 at 125mph

heres his slip or as much as i can remember
12-13lbs. of boost
1.9 60ft (on drag radials)
7.8 1/8 mile at 97mph
11.67 1/4 mile at 125

his damn turbo didnt start spooling until like the 200ft mark and he still pulled 125mph with a 6000+ D.A.

hes working on his 4l80e with trans brake now so i cant wait to see what it will do when it can launch under boost

WOW! 6000' DA? That's F***in up there! It's worse than what we typically get here in Phoenix.

IDK about your friends setup but 1 of my buddies with a 2000 Z28 with tubo and TH400 with transbrake ran a 9.43 @ ~147 mph at Firebird Raceway last year (if need be I can verify as it's on YouTube). DA was the typical ~3500' we have here. They gave him the boot as his cage allows a max 10 flat run.

I am stunned your DA is so high there in Odessa Texas. NM you start at 3002 feet okay.. Hell a 10.7 at 126. Drop the DA to below 1000 or in the negatives and thats 9's all day. WoW... The track here is at 619 feet we do see negative DA days. You need to take a trip this way.

Yeah man the air here sucks.If i cant get a 9sec. pass up here I will take a trip to the coast sometime.

check the D.A. man it was down to around 5500 about 7:00pm but all through the day it was up there, 4:00pm it was 61 hundred and some change.

I dont need you to verify but i always like to see f-bodies going fast
there is a guy here with a 383 lt1, stock unported heads,same tranny doing mid 9's
full weight car on 20+lbs..
