    am i running too slow???

raced today for the first time in this car. was about 40* outside.

i ran consistent 13.0@107 with 1.9-2.0 60fts, the guy i got it from said he ran a 12.8 on street tires before. i dont think i know how to launch right in the auto. im used to manual trans cars.

I would think it would be capable of mid to high 12's. Just practice more. I bet once you get your launch down you will be pleased.

I run with a 3500 stalled a4...it just takes time man....I run with street tires and have a ton of torque so it took me a while to figure it all out.

U just gotta keep running it when the track is good and get a good baseline launch (dont push it....just get it to go without breaking traction), then keep trying it as long as the track conditions stay good, and give it a little more everytime out of the whole until u have the feel of where ur car is gonna break traction. Every car is gonna be a little different, tires, power, and stall, so its really just the experiance of u with ur car.

Keep it up man, ull do better with time
