Are 7's possible ?
Hello, just wanted to see what you guys think my new 1/8th mile time will be with my new mods. My car is a 02 Z28 A4 with a diablo, drop in k&n stock lid, stock 2.73 gear. Everything else is stock. Heres my timeslip from my 8.60 run.
I have now added a k&n fipk, auburn posi with 4.10's, a trans go shift kit, trans cooler, nitto drag radials, and a 2800 stall. I have a NX wet kit to install later. Without the NX kit what et and mph do you think the car is capable of producing in the 1/8th?

I agree, 4.10's are way too much gear for an automatic. I would go with 3.73's. Your gonna run out of gears and top it out at 90MPH with that high of a gear! And how well would the nitrous run with the gears being that high?

A larger stall would be better then more gear.

I have N2O and 3.73. I am hitting overdrive with about 120-150 feet lefted and now I am experiencing torque converter lockup issues. Oh yeah, no issues, it just doesn't do it. Anyways, I have a stock torque converter and with the 3.73s I still have traction problems. 4.10 would just smok'em. It would look really cool. My two cents.
