first welcome to the site. times are good, casue i even hear stockers running 14's. but with drag radials should be a lil quicker on the 60.. sorry! what rpm are you leaving at? do you do a burn out? what tire pressor?
try launching at 1500+, good 5 sec burn out, and start dropping your press a lil at a time till you find your sweet spot

Yeah a stall will work wonders also. What gears do you have ? I would think hi 1.8's would be common on dr's

Hey erock, the higher rpm will def. help you. If you have an M6 and slicks, try 2500. My buddy in his 02 ws6 (all stock) launches at 2500 on slicks and turns a 2.02. If an A4 and ur stock, ur screwed. I have a 4.11 gear in an A4 and only go 2.00 consistently. Before the gear, it was 2.18. I hope my 3800 stall converter and set of v6 strut towers will drop it at least into the 1.8s. Good luck, and I guess all I can say is welcome to the LS1 and 4200 lbs! It really moves at 3500-3800, so the closer you can get to launching there, the better!!

Thats not a bad 60'. Did you notice any wheel spin out of the lights? If its not spinning then the only way to pick up your 60' is launch harder.
I know with my Mt E;T drag radials they hooked really good if I did a 30 sec rolling burnout through the lights, But I always enjoy a big burnout.

Track prep has alot to do with it!!!!!
But even with that 2.0 is not bad thats pretty average, Im sure with some more practice he will get a little better.

this worked great for me A4 and my buddies 2000 m6 for about $150
first for the free stuff, remove front bumper support, front sway bar, all emissions equip, and air those front tires to 50lbs.
spend about $40 in 2 gauge wire from advanced (18ft) and a audio junction box for about $20 and get that battery where it needs to be---in the trunk, my battery is 4 years old and i did this 2 months ago and have had no problems, then open up a jegs catolog and order you rear lower control arms from lakewood for about 89.99, they are boxed pieces and are very solid, you will feel it.
i went from a 2.002 to a 1.93 doing these only for about $150 and my buddy did these exact things to his 2000 m6 formula and went from a 2.08 to a 1.952000 auto camaro
13.54 @ 104 2.049 60' stock 2.73
12.94 @ 109 2.002 60' full exhaust, lid, tune, nitto 555r 2.73
11.899 @ 114.44 1.686 60' full exhaust, lid, tune, nitto 245/50-16 555r 3.73 moser 12-bolt 2800 fuddle, ls6 intake manifold, slp under drive pully,fiberglass hood, bmr k-member

Hey little white, it has little to do with the driver. With a 2.73 gear, you can only move 4200 lbs so fast off the line. All that extra hp moves you to a higher mph, but gear, weight, slicks, and converter get you off the line quickly. To the man who needed the help, take care of those things in the most cost effective way for you, and you'll see results.

Something else crossed my mind too. How are you staging your car? For the fastest time, barely rock the car in after the prestage bulb is illuminated. You barely want the staging beam to come on. That gives you the most rollout possible. Good luck!

Way to rise above, asshole. Show ur shit in omaha on Mar 27, or keep ur fucking mouth shut, you smartass kid. We run real drag racing for money here, not Friday night crap with people who can't race. Talk shit when you have a B/FIA NHRA stock eliminator Camaro. Anywho, telling someone who is asking for information that it's driver's fault isn't going to help him, unless you give reason. I guess I'll be seen as a "dick" for shutting your dumbass mouth shut, so this site isn't for me. Let em listen to idiots like you.

added borla exhaust 1.991 60ft 13.17 @ 105.73

you just need more seat time. my best 60fts have been sitting at idle and flooring it, so long as the track holds it.
