    3rd Gear!!!!

ok, so last night i tried launching my car 4 times, at different stop lights... 1st to 2nd seems fine, but going from 2nd to 3rd, gets me every time!!! it goes in gear, but when i stomp on the gas again, its like its in neutral!!! this is extremely frustrating, seen as though i want to take it to the track soon!!! please help! (its an M6).

If you haven't got one yet you may want to look into an aftermarket shifter. They don't have the rubber bushing so it feels alot more solid plus it's easier to find the gears. Also try investing in a short stick on top of that. These should help you alot but make sure you set the stop screws on the shifter properly.

I went with the Hurst Billet/Plus and the Ws6store short stick

I guess it's possible. Also didn't think about it at the time but you may have bent the shift fork for 3rd gear so it won't let it slip completely into gear.
