    18" rims at the track?

Would 18" rear wheels hurt 1/4mile times compared to 17"? if so how much?

There are several factors that could effect your times. Are the new rims cast iron or aluminum? Weight is also an issue of course depending of what they're made out of. Bigger wheels= slower acceleration and will reduce the amount of HP that you put on the ground.

The new rims are aluminum and yes there bigger. new ones are 10.5 18" rear and 9.5 17" fronts

well it comes down to tire to road also..thats why WIDER tires help your times...so its not that it is a 18in rim..its that it is 10.5 wide that helps..and many times with just 1 inch different in diameter/extra weight is offset by the fact that there is usually 2+ inches wider.

QTP's, ORY, Magnaflow catback. This guy is telling me to get a cutout, but i'm not sure if it'd be worth it. He thinks I'll need to to get over 400rwph. I dunno. I was hoping my current mods, a torquer 2 and the ls6 would get me there.
