    12.7 with bolt ons?

Hey guys, I ran my car at the track last week and managed a 12.7 @ 113
But yea, I have 372 rwhp, 370 rwtq with M6, 4.10, Full exhaust with dump, intake, bbk 80 mm TB, Panhard rod, STB, SFC, Pro 5.0, custom tune, and Nitto 315 drag radials.

I wasn't too happy with my 60 ft., as it was 2.0 at best , what is REALLY possible with what I have done provided I have some mickeys or something better than nittos?

That's a good number, but may I ask do you really have 372 rwhp?

I was at 450 rwhp with cam and heads, and one hell of a tune before Vortec! That's why I only ask! I also figured your car should of ran faster. I did post the drag calc. Remember?

Yea, it was done on a Mustang Dyno, no Dynojet BS. It was out at Vector Motorsports/Katech Building #5 out in Clinton Township. Bout an hour away from where I am at in MI, Plymouth/Canton.

A Mustang Dyno is load-bearing, and the load can be changed, thus changing the output numbers. Its a great tuning tool, but useless for comparison purposes. In short, 372 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno could be 320-420 RWHP on a Dynojet.

Additionally, in order to even attempt any sort of comparison between cars run on a dyno, you need to correct them to the same standard (SAE or STD) and have the correction information available for comparison.

your 2.0 60 is pretty bad considering you have 4.10 and 315 nitto, i would guess you should pull a 1.85 60 with that setup, just keep up the practice on launching, my auto with 2.73 and 245 nitto ran a 1.998 60,

i just got my 12 bolt with 3.73 and am waiting for my rear lower control arms to come in, but when they do im gonna go to the track and try to pull a 1.89 60

i know autos hook different from the man. but still your 60 should be lower, figure for every .1 you can get off the 60 you will drop .2 in the quarter

my car dynoed 305hp with slp cai, headers, tune , weight is 3540 and the car runs 12.94 @109.23 -13.02 @109.18 consistant, hopfully mid 12s with 3.73 gears

305 with headers and a tune? Ouch. Mine was there fully stock... its weird how much our cars can vary

I bet its not the variance in cars, but rather the variance in dynos.

what did your car run fully stock?

the dyno my car was on also had a viper with intake, exhuast, tune only dyno 470, dynoes are tunning tools, not a measuring device

that right there proves it was the dyno cause mine stock ran 13.5 ,THEN i put header and lid, dyno was 290, then tune, 305 hp, took it to the track and hit a 12.9 with the 305 dyno number

Not really.. depends on traction and condtions (i.e. temperature, humidity, and sea level)

well it was a pretty shitty day for running, around 90 degrees and very humid, you sweat just standing around. I dunno how far above sea level Milan Dragway is but yea I am sure someone else from the michigan area knows.

true..... my 60 was a 1.998 with the 2.72 gear, the track was gateway international raceway elevation is 400ft I THINK i will ask next time i go , but the guy who dynoed it is only 30 miles away so elevation is close, temp was 80 on both 13.5 and 12.9 runs

i know its hard to compare dyno numbers without both cars being dynoed at the same place back to back, but i do know my car runs good and the guy from the shop did a great job on my car and would recommend anyone to go to him for a tune

Not bad times for the temp but I think you need a better set of tires and you would go around 12.3, the mt et street radials are really good. I put down 12.3 @ 113 with 350rwhp on them that was with good weather.

h/c and exhaust should put you mid 11s... Exhaust and stall (if its an auto) will put you very low 12s
