112.33mph
With a 112.33mph trap speed, what should the time be? More or less

The 60ft would tell me way more with mph. I went 11.70 at 115 with a 1.60 60 ft, my buddy went 11.6x at 113 with a 1.5 60ft. but seen ppl run 13.0 with a 112 mph.

I ran a 13.1 at 109MPH. That was with a 1.906 60' time. I'm guessing with a good launch my car is capable of mid 12's or maybe even as low as 12.3ish.
I DYNO'd 330rwhp and 342rwtq on a Mustang DYNO.
Mods in signature.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

I ran a 13.5x at....112mph I know I know super fail. Horrible launch, shitty bald Nitto street tires, 110 degree track, excuses excuses. It was like a 2.30 or so 60'

Geez what was your 1/8th mile? That 60' doesn't seem like it would match up.
Don't remember your mods if you could list them for us senile folk.

I'm embarrassed to say considering the times I ran lol. Cam/full exhaust and a tune. Still running the stock LS1 intake, stock gears. 387hp at the wheels. But it was my 1 and only time running down the track with the cam in it. Cant remember the 1/8th mile. I was literally spinning almost all the way to the 1/8th. Dont hate on me to much lmao

Time slip doesn't say my 1/8 mile time
My mods are:
Engine: ebay longtubes, ory, borla XR-1, slp lid, k&n filter, p&p throttle body, tune, and free mods
Suspension: hotchkis lca's, panhard bard, rear sway bar, stru tower brace, umi relocation brackets, eibach pro-kit, bilstein shocks
Drivetrain: 4.10's, ws6 store short stick
I think that's it. Ill post a picture of my slip and the youtube video when I get home.

Great question, and nice to see someone understand what the mph means. It's all I'll pay attention to at the dragstrip while tuning the engine. It's a great indicator of the cars potential,,,the rest is just 60 foot times.
112 mph is actually good for quite a bit quicker than most are saying here. If you have a car setup properly that can take advantage of the HP being made all the way down track, and can 60 foot well,,,,112 mph will support a high 11 second pass.
One of the first engines I built in my fathers goat ran 12.0's at 112 mph. It would 60 foot in the 1.62-1.65 range.
But you will find that most street cars with stock suspensions will generally be stuck in the 12.30-12.50 range with a mph like that, due to alot of factors like driving skill, manual transmission that isn't shifted or driven properly, or an automatic that doesn't have a well built stall converter and isn't working efficiently, not enough rear gear, tire, suspension, etc.....
A great class to watch and pay attention to mph is NHRA Stock Eliminator racing. They range in ET's all over the place depending on class. They also have scienced out the drivetrain to take advantage of every last bit of power made, you have to be on your game when competition is stiff.
You will regularly see cars dip into the high 12's at only 102 mph. You will see high 11 second cars all the time running 110-112 mph.Last edited by Firebirdjones; 02-18-2011 at 12:43 PM.

I went 112.5 mph last year in a full weight small cammed GTO on the stock converter. 60 ft was 1.86 and the et was 12.47.
Now I am putting in a FTI 3600 stall and going with skinnies up front so hopefully ill hit a high 11 or a very low 12. Last time on the dyno it made about 405 RWHP
