Thumbs up 11.918 with minor boltons, ss3600, weight reduction! (vid!)

Made 3 passes. The DA was -187. 1st was best of the night at 11.918 with 60' of 1.670. 2nd pass I spun off the line but still did a 12.4 60' of 2.something lol. 3rd pass was 11.937 with the best 60' of 1.666 and this is the pass that is in the vid. Thanks to Brian (BDKZ28) for recording the vid!
Heres the 2 slips of 1st, 3rd, and vid of 3rd pass. Im left on the slips.

Gratz on the times. It even looks like you have vette wheels. 11.91 at 112 mph without a cam!!! So weight reduction! What if anything is left in the car?

Thanks! Yes they are zr1s that came on the car stock. They are stock ss wheels.
Yes my goal was to hit 11s before a cam. I was hoping for better weather so I would be either high 11.7s or low 11.8s. It very common to get -1200 da up here this time of year but not this year. i still reached my goal in -187 da though.
The only things you can see thats missing from the car is pass seat and back seats. I still have the carpet and everything else. When im not racing I just throw the pass seat in. Still looks stock except the back seats. Car weighs about 3200 with 1/8 tank gas. Then add 210 with me so about 3400 race weight.

    My weight reduction...
    Air pump and all attachments-8
    Stock disk changer-8
    T top holders-2
    Windshield wiper reservoir-2
    Spare tire and jack-35
    Stock TC 50 minus Yank Tc 30 - 20
    A/C-33
    Back seats with seat belts/bolts-33
Front pass seat with seat belt-35
    Front bumper support-19.2
    rear bumper support 20.8
    modified carpet 25
    sway bar 15

    TOTAL 256LBS

Im running on stock zr1s 275 40 17 all around with mt drs in the rear.

I might take a run up to the track tomorrow morning and get 11.8s. Im predicting the da to be 500+ lower.

Yup ss came with ZR1's. Reason I mentioned them is weight. They are very heavy and a lot of sprung weight. Get lighter wheels and maybe a DR which would help with the 60'. And I bet you get better times. A -187 DA is very nice. We can see -1300 DA's here.

Well, I know zr1s are not a drag wheel but I dont consider them to be very heavy. Sure maybe compaired to a bogart but zr1s are 21lbs from my scale.
I will invest in drag wheels in the future but right now im not changing anything.
I mentioned I have mt drs! LOL!

Everything seems fine. I will not even bother to hold onto slips or post if I spin. I didnt even take any air out of my mt drs. They had around 28psi in them and didnt spin. Had 50psi on the fronts. Mostly what I hear is if your not spinning with the highest psi possible then leave it alone. Whats your opinion?

If you are not spinning, I would leave it alone. The lower the pressure, the less control you have.
What RPM's are you leaving the line at?

Well im basically just taking a little slack out maybe 1k or so. Not much. I did try stalling it higher before but it dosent seem to work as well.
My lowest ever is that 1.666. I know of guys who are low 1.6s maybe even high 1.5s with this ss3600. Idk how else to get it lower. Im still going to play around with it though.

What do you mean stalling higher didn't work well? You spun?
