Sunset Orange- 2001 Procharged Camaro SS
ZO6 Rims
I am about to buy new crome ZO6 replica rims. I have a 2001 Z28. Should I run 18" rims with 275/35 tires or 17" rims with 275/40 tires?

If you race go with the 17s. 18s weight enough you can lose .2 - .3 in the 8the mile.

My vote always goes 18s. I run 275-35-18s KDWIIs now and love the look and handling.

I have some 18"s on my car. Didnt feel it slow down at all. 18"s are the perfect size. Fills a little more than the 17"s but weight just a little more.

Did you get 18x10.5s or 18x9.5s? I am running 295/35/18s on my Z06s. They are 18x10.5s on mine. I agree with the 18s filling in the gaps better but also think they did slow me down some too.
Here is what my BFG 295s look like on the 18s

Yes. If you plan on doing hardcore racing, go with the 17's. Otherwise, go with 18's. I would never go back to 17's.

I went with 18x9 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear. Gotta go with the stagger.
