Yes! Another tire thread
I have a set of c5 z06 wheels from OEWheels that I am about to put on my car, 9.5F/10.5R. I thought I had figured out what size tires I was going to run, but now after looking through several tire threads I'm not sure what to run. Original plan was to run a 275/40/18F and 305/35/18R Nitto 555r on the rear, lowered on Sportlines. The car isn't a DD but I do like to drive it every chance I have with the exception of rain/snow and I doubt it'll ever see the track due to my work schedule. Soooo my question is should I run:
275/40/18 Nitto 555
305/35/18 Nitto 555r
OR
275/40/18 Nitto NT05
295/35/18 Nitto NT05

Are you opposed to hammering a bit at the wheel wells and rolling the fenders? And I am assuming you have an upgraded panhard bar since you are lowered.

305s was my first choice. I'm not really wanting to run a DR all the time just because of those rare cases of getting caught in the rain. I'm actually going to drive it to the beach later this summer and I know I'll hit bad weather at some point.

That's kind of a toss up then. If the rain really concerns you then I would go with the NT05 but I am all about having more width.

I don't have any experience with Nittos so I can't really answer that. My only other suggestion would be to maybe consider a different brand so you don't have to run a DR.
