wrong offset?? help me out here

ok i got a pair of 17x11 TTIIs and was test fitting them on the car
one of the 17x11s has more of a deep dish than the other
when i test fit each one in the same place, one fit much better with way more clearance!
so what is my problem here?
    different offsets?
i called tomzwheels and the guy on the phone basically said NOTHING to me and said they have to call american racing to find out what the problem is!!!???

i just measured the wheels from the hub while they were upside down and the one with the deeper dish is shorter from the hub to the edge of the wheel.
does this mean that it is a different offset for sure?
the man on the phone said they cant be a different offset because the bolt pattern would be different?
    please help

after all day on the phone with tomzwheels and american racing, i think we came up with a solution
all i needed is the correct 2 rear wheels and i was given hell to get everything in order
now im getting one 17x11 wheel sent to me and im supposed to match it up with one of the 17x11s that i have now.
they also took another $200 deposit in order to send me the correct wheels....
anyways, cant wait to put them on
    i have a set of 275-40-17 and 315-35-17 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KD tires ready!!
i also just got my VFN WS6 hood
AND my prokit, shocks and panhard bar will be here at the end of the week!

You definitely got two different offset wheels there! Hopefully, the new one they send is the offset that fits best. Not sure what you have, but the recommended offset for running the 315s on the rear is +50mm.

    Good luck!

now theyre sending me the FOURTH 17x11 wheel!
they said the offset is supposed to be 46mm for the rear with the 17x11 wheels.
i thought they were supposed to be 45mm?
