Will Tire Fit
I am looking at buying a 17 x 10.5 z06 rim for the rear. Will this fit with out any problems with fitment. I don't want to have to beat the car to make it fit.

Cat it looks like you might have to roll the fender lip and might have to work your way around the bump stop. I also had to beat in the fender well a bit. But it all worked for me. I ended up with 18X10.5 rears the rubbers were 305/45/18. They look alittle meaty but I like the look its exactly what i was looking for.
Here's my thread on it.

It also depends on if you are lowered. I am lowered and had C6 Z06 Deep Dish wheels on my car previously and they fit without problem. They were 18x8.5 F and 18x10.5 R.
I am copying this from somewhere else. hopefully it helps.

Thank you for all the info. Guess I need to go and sit down with a local Tire specialist and figure it out.

if you want to maintain 17s, your best bet is buying aftermarket ZR1s. you can get those in 17x9.5 F and 17x11 R and there are tons of people that run those. the best part is they are deep dish
Edit: or you can run 17x9.5s all the way around and get just about any vette style you wantLast edited by 2001camaroSS; 10-04-2010 at 06:42 PM.

I ran 18x10 American racing killer wheels I.have now with no issue till I lowered it the a mild fender lip roll fixed it stock height these cars sit high so I wouldn't worry about the fender lip I have seen people run 17x10.5's stock height with no rub as long as the tire height own't raised.
