    will these lugnuts work

i just picked up some 17" aftermarket wheels for my DD. my question is will it hurt anything to use the stock lugnuts on the aftermarket wheels. i didnt get any lugs with them because i got them used and the guy kept the lugs for his new wheels. the reason i am asking is that the stockers have threads on the outside for the plastic lug covers. it seems to make them a little tight but the wheels feels tight. thanks in advance for any replies

They should work fine as long as your new wheels require lugs with a tapered seat and NOT a shoulder-type nut. The outside threads are just for the black plastic appearance cap , but should not interfere with threading them on. I would use the black caps if you have them. I just bought a set of Gorilla Locks for mine. It is a set of 20 locks with the tool from Summit. Mine are Black Chrome. They look AWESOME on my black ZR-1's. I hope this was helpful.

these wheels have a center cap that completely covers the lugs so i dont care what they look like. i just want them to be safe
