    wierd tire issues???

    ok so i just bought new tires yesterday the same size and the previous bfg 275/40/zr17 the new tires are nexen n3000s they seem good but my car is noticably slower i cant explain it other than the rotating mass may be more ....but it shouldnt make that much of a difference would it???

    It shouldn't make a difference unless for some reason the tires were significantly heavier than your last set, or your tire pressures are low. I have N3000's on the front and I don't have any problems, but I have heard some complaints about them crapping out early.

    yeah i bought them because they are alot cheaper i bought the car and the tires were already bald but i mean i think its alot slower and its bothering me lol

    I don't see how tires the same size would make the car any slower personally. Either you are just imagining things or perhaps you have another issue. Don't take the imagining things the wrong way. We all have "thought" something was wrong with our cars after getting something installed on them.

    Why exactly does the car seem slower? Is it hesitating? Maybe you have a dirty air filter or dirty MAF.

    it just doesnt feel as powerful through out the whole range ....it may be cuz its alot smoother now....i wish i had some timed runs with and with out the new tires
