i have 275/40ZR18's out back and 245/45ZR17's up front and that is about a 1/4" clearance in the back it your want any wider you will more than likely have to go with a different offset or a spacer.

    2000 CamaroSS convertible

    i have 17x11 w/ 315/35-17 on all corners.
some have 17x12 on all 4 w/ 335s... but that needs some flaring in the back.

I believe stock 16s will only hold 255s safely, though people always push it. If you want wider, you need wider wheels to hold them. I'd suggest 10.5 wide 17s for the back, 9 wide 17s for the front, then you can run between a 275-305 out back, and stick right around a 245-255 in front.

Get 17 in rims x 9.5 i think, and you can get 275s with no problem... pretty good, but i have seen people that put 315s on them. 11inch wide in the back with 315s works good for most people.
