    when I cut my car on sometimes some high pressure air comes out right wheel weld?

    When i cut my car on sometimes i get a high pressure of air coming out of my front left wheel weld it sounds like its a nos blow off value, but im all stock except for straight pipe from cats back wit 49K miles on it, after it blows the air off it doesnt do it anymore while driving or anything it looks like a white mist/smike very light not a dark smoke thats why i say a mist, can anyone help?

    Clarify--when you start your car? The left wheel well? The AIR pump is located there for example.

    All I have to say to that is: that can't be good.

    Have a buddy turn the car over while you have the hood open and figure out where the hell its coming from, because nothing in the car should do that under normal conditions. If its like you said (nitrous line purging) it should be pretty obvious where its coming from.

    Are you sure its not like the starter bearings gone bad and spinning down? Just a thought...

    The passenger WHEEL WELL? as opposed to 'weld' which would indicate a failure of the wheel.......
    Ok- my bad on which side-it was early.
    The passenger side may be the A/C high pressure overload valve purging. It's probably quit by now. Does your A/C still cool?

    On my 02 the AIR pump is on the driver's front. The A/C compressor however is located low on the passenger side. I'm just guessing that's where the high pressure relief valve is too.
