which wheels should I get?
I'm about to buy some rims for my car but i am not sure what size tires i want to get. I would like to get some low profile wheels but i wouldnt know what would be good or bad. Kinda just found out what the measurements actually mean but since the only thing on my car that is after-market is my exhaust system i wasnt sure if having a high performance car would make a difference on which wheels to choose from. Off the top of my head i want to say 265/30/18......does that sound even good at all?

see i wasnt sure what my tires were stock until now. so running 275 or higher would be good right? and what about the sidewall? if i want a low profile sidewall.....what would be good for that?

most people use 295-315 widths whenchangin rim setups, there are a few that have done 325and 335 if i recall, as for sidewalls 30 is real low pro, stock side wall is40 but if thats what u want u should be good

the tires that i have on my car now look fine. I mean i bought the car in September and put her in the garage for the winter in late November. Only taken her out 2 times and the roads were nice. That i know of the tires and rims are stock. If you want some pictures just let me know, ill hook you up. As for rims i would like black ones, but i think your talking about tires so ill have to say black ones. The rims i am looking at come with a tire package but the biggest tire that comes with the rims are 245/40/18 and the rims are 18x8.5. but as we both know stock is 275/40......so i dont want to downgrade in size

If your looking for a basic size and want the same on all four corners.
18x9.5 wheels with approx 45mm offset and 275/35/18 tires. This setup will not rub and will not throw off your speedo or ABS.
BTW just for reference your stock WS6 wheels are 17x9 with a 50mm offset.Craig

nothing smaller than 17x9 - 18x9.5 is pretty sick.

If you are looking for a fat stance in the back you will probably want to go with a wider wheel than an 8.5 inch wide. The stock wheels are a 9 inch wide wheel so you'd really be going with a slightly narrower wheel. When I changed out my wheels I decided I wanted to run 17 x 9.5 in the front (which I could still run the same size tire I had on the WS6 wheels. For the back I chose a 18 x 10.5 inch wheel to give it more of a fat stance. Here is a pic to show you how tall the tire is on my WS6.
Hope this helps you. My tire sizes are Front: 275/40/17 Rear: 295/35/18.

That's why I went with gun metal also. It seemed like every NMB T/A I saw had Torq's or some kind of chrome wheel on it. Don't get me wrong...they look sharp like that too..I just wanted it to look a little different. I've got white stripes and accents on it right now. But, I think after I get back from the desert I'm going to take them off. Might keep them off or go with a gun metal colored stripe and possibly paint the area above the tail pipes the same color as the wheels. Not sure though. I've got a few more months to think about it. But, it is driving me crazy not being able to take my T/A out for a spin.
Maybe you can get someone to photo shop the gun metals on your car to see how it looks. Just an idea. Good luck at any rate.

yea i know what u mean, about the tt2 they do look good, butr they are very common. i debating on goin with a good gunmetal wheel. or some ccw's i love the way they look man and the fact that u can have them custom built is better, i plan on gettin a 9inch and shortening it. just to have a different setup u know? cause i know not to many people do that.
