Opinions on black or chrome wheels for my pewter SS. Also, attach pictures of pewter SS's with black or chrome wheels if you have any please

i like black wheels (matte finish) - i don't have a pewter ss, but i posted some pics of my new black wheels in the corvette wheels thread..

I personally like chrome. I hate black. It makes the wheels look dirty. If you weren't going to go chrome gunmetal isn't bad. Here's a few shots of my current and old wheels.

CCW 505a 18x10 F / 18x11 R

C6 Z06 DD 18x8.5 F / 18x10.5 R

Chrome with pewter for sure. Black only looks decent with a red car.

gunmetal with stainless lip aint bad on pewter....ive gotten used to it...

a lot of people say chrome and stuff like that, but i'm all for going opposite of what the norm is. i like the way black wheels look but maybe if i just got different chrome wheels i will like that.

are the only wheels yall recommend the z06 wheels or are there others

Flat black!!!
1 member here painted his rims on his pewter ss. Looks sick. He also has the stripes on the fender. I can't remember his name!
I think he has c5 zo6 rims.

Not a big fan of chrome ! Specially on f-body.

Nope there are others. Here's what I have on my car, sorry I can't get any better pics as the car isn't running atm. Not sure how they would look on a Camaro though.

Thanks! The gaps are a little too big for me since they are 20x8 in the front and 20x10 in the back, I am just waiting on my lowering springs and they should be perfect.

since i dont like how chrome rims look on pewter cars i also decided on black rims for my pewter T/A,preferbly the C6 Z06 wheels since i have the CETA mod on my Trans Am i think black would match perfectly,one question did your Camaro SS come from the factory with a black sail panel?

i asked for opinions & suggestions on putting black rims on my pewter Trans Am & i got all kinda negative comments & responses,but yet & still im still buying the black C6 Z06 Wheels,some say dont do the Vette wheels i say why not? Vette wheels look great on fbodys,i think no matter how many ppl disagree with your choice at the end of the day its your car & your money,do whatever it is that will satisfy you

dont mean 2 change the subject,but i thought all the Camaros,both V8s & V6s came with black sail panels? i was also wondering what years did the Z28 & SS start with black sail panels?
