Wheel Spacers?
Anyone know of some good wheel spacers for my 98 TA? I just put some C6 Vette 18" and 19" wheels on my car and the rear needs to be spaced out an inch or so.
Thanks!

with enough inner wheel massaging, they fit without spacers. but, they are kinda tucked in a bit.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

just curious
i was wondering how strong wheel spacers are? what would happen if you hooked real hard with a lot of power?

it's not the spacers you need to worry about... it's the wheel studs...
if you are going ot get spacers you will need longer wheel studs... and that means pulling out your rear axles to get the old studs out and the new ones in... the fronts are easy to do though...
i have .375" spacers sitting in my garage still... i also have a set of arp studs for each wheel... i'm so damn lazy though...

If you use the type of spacers shown in the link above you won't need longer wheels studs. Those spacers are 1.25"'s thick though which is perfect for the Vette wheels. $140 a set is kind of pricey but I may go ahead and order them.
I put 1/4" wheels spacers (wafer kind) temporarily because they not only rubbed the inner fender well a bit, they rubbed the lower control arm. They barely fit but no rubbing. The offset is too negative though, with the spacers they will look sweet.
