ummm, help me convert these
i wanna get c5 chrome replicas, 17x275 for the front and 18x315 in the back...what do the widths convert to in inches?

275 = 10.8 inches
315 = 12.4 inches

You better have some mini tubs in the back to fit a 12.5 inch rim. Or were you looking for rim sizes to fit those size tires? In that case it would be 9" up front, 11" in the rear.

i don't really know how to answer that. I've seen 17x8., 17x9.5 and 18x9.5.
so i wanna know what tire sizes i need to wrap around the 17x8 and 18x9.5 as i think that's the combo i want to go with.Last edited by third_shift|studios; 10-02-2006 at 10:42 AM.

use the same tires sizes i used on the wife's car. 17x8.5 with 255/45-17 and 18x9.5 with 285/35-18
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

sounds good. i'll prolly get 40's though, not 35 and 45's ... i saw the pic on her home page and didn't like the difference

well, do what you want. just remember to keep the tire diameters the same or you'll have ABS and braking issues because of it.

11'' wide wheels will fit 315 tires
9.5'' is good for 285's
