turning stockers into 315s????

Is it possible to turn the orininal rims into 315s? I like the look of the stock rims but after my mods the stocker width wont hold the car on the road. Has anyone had this done or does anyone know how much it would cost? Anyone seen it done? I think it would look great IMO, original. Thanks for the input.

First your not looking to turn your wheels into 315's. 315's are tires not rims. You want to turn you stock 17x9 wheels to 17x11's to fit 315 tires on them. To answer your question it is possible. I'm sure if you do a search you will find a few people that have done it that can give you more info. From what I have read it is rather expensive to do.

cant remember right off what company. there is a company that make replica wheels in any size. i have a buddy that but 18 X 10.5 on his cobra. he liked the rims and didnt want to buy all four so he just bought the 2 rears. he told me they had WS6 wheels too.

i cant remember but there is a place that will do it. i saw it on this sit at one time. i heard that the replica ws-6 wheels ware out of production. if you find where let me know i was thinking of doing it with my wheels.

depends where you go of course, but expect to pay at least 200 per rim. then pay another 100 or so per spacer.

-basically it would be cheaper to buy new rims

-oh don't forget the stock wheels weigh quite a bit and will weigh even more of course after you widen them, the choice is yours.
