Tubes in drag radials??
Is it ok to put a tube in a drag radial??

one of them has a little knick in it and i dont want it to blow at 100+ mph
I dont know if it would make a diff or not, but that is why i am posting
anyone who can awnser my question i would appreciate it.

What tire is it? If the DR has a "knick" I assume you mean it needed a patch. I wouldnt trust a patched Radial at the strip ever. The tube doesnt make any sense to me.

Its a MT DR 275 40 15 and it has about a two inch gash in it right in the middle of the tread, and i would be putting a tube in both if it would work.

if its that bad just get new tires....its worth it........even if that tire went and you had a tube, it depends on how the tires goes.....it could take the tube with it or still take you even if the tube is intact
