be careful about different sidewall heights..it can throw off the abs and ruin your heavy breaking stability...search for total tire height and compare the two

i run 275-35-18 up front and 295-35-18 out back. with the toyo t1r, let me start by telling you that you have to buy these tires, ive had about 6 different sets of tires on each of my ls1's and these will be the last style and or brand i buy, i have nearly 25k miles on my tires more than 50% tread life left with 1.8 60 foots on my stock 02 ss with m6, im telling you my friends have all switched and some still dont belive how well they hook and corner and last, best tire ive ever used or seen.

I also have the T1-Rs, and they are a good tire. I don't rank them as highly as camarojunky74, but that's probably because I'm used to running a dual compound tire. I would say that in terms of traction they are roughly equivalent to stock. As an added benefit, they are much cheaper, however.

I would say that if you are looking for replacement tires with good overall quality, comparable performance with the factory tires, and at a relatively low price these are a good pick for you. Good wet traction, too.
