    Tires

    I want to put 18 " rims on my 02 ws6 , but I also want to go wider. I would like to know if anyone knows how wide I can go within the wheel wells. Thanks for the response

    99 Trans am WS6

    255/40r18 front on 8.5x18 296/35r18 rear on 10x18. Wish I went with 255/35r18 on front .Ride quality is about the same as 275/40r17 goodyear stock. I dont seam to have the same cornering grip ,but its hardly a noticable differance. the biggest differance is the rear traction bfg kdw grip great dry and wet street use. I'm looking for some drag tires for track day at the stip. maybe to go on my stock wheels.
