    Tires

Whats the widest tire you can on a 2000 WS6? I have 275s currently and would like to go bigger. 315s would be sweet.

    315 35 17 will fit,
i assume you have the factory rims still (17x9)
ideally they would fit better on 17x11

    triple-black
    2000 CamaroSS convertible

if you stay with stock rim, don't go wider than 275/40-17
    a 275/40-17 is meant to be mounted on a 17x 9"-11" with optimal mounting on a 17x9.5"
    stock wheel is 17x9"
a 315/35-17 is meant to be mounted on a 17x11"-13" for proper mounted tire.

So if you want to get wider tires, get wider wheels.
Unless you don't care about safety.

    almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

I figured that I would need new wheels to fit 315s
