    Tires

What are the best all around tires for these cars i have seen all kinds but cannot figure out witch ones to get. I currently have sumitomo's and they suck ass loud no traction just a sucky tire. Just looking for a suggestion.

this is going to be a tough topic as everybody will be different.... i really like BFG. they have held up well and had very little sidewall roll. they have a few different models in different price ranges... i have\had KDWS and loved them.

Don't buy Kumhos...they didn't even hold the pavement under my stock power, even with a slipping clutch.

Since I've put my 335s on, I have my Kumhos sitting in the garage waiting for next Spazpalooza so I can do a nice urnout without destroying my regular street tires.

That would be the tire section width... 245-50-ZR16 is the stock Z28 tire for Z rated tires. His tire is 335mm wide...

I REALLY like my Nitto NT555's. As long as you don't need an all season and aren't looking for super long life (they have a tread rating of 300), you really can't go wrong with them for the price IMO. Or at least the price I paid...600 inc. mounting, balancing, and tax.

They're quiet and ride smooth, are good in the rain, and hook like crazy at the track! Granted I have a stock A4 2.73 car, but with the all season Michelins I had before, I couldn't hook to save my life at the track. These things I can floor it and just go! I can even leave off the brake at 1500 and STILL not spin them. I knocked about .15 off my best 1/4 mile time with these.

Well that helpful info because as soon as my exhaust and other bolt on's are done ill probably need better tires with the m6 its already squirrelly as hell so some traction would help!!

After looking at the price tag on a new DSG3 from Goodyear, I went with the Firestone Firehawk which is a higher rated tire for about half the price. Probably going to throw Nitto's on the back when they come due
