Tire size? all around
I wanted to keep my wheels and tires so I could still rotate. Which tire size should I run with 18s all the way around? 275-35-18?

That is the tire size i would use if I had 18's all the way around. But i guess you are not going to get directional tires????

How wide are your 18's going to be? I'm running 275/35/18's on 18x10.5's and wish I had wider (it came with em on) so I'm gonna buy the 295's for the rear (the're bald), and then the front.

Any good tire recomendations that are affordable? College budget kinda hard to spend 300$ + each tire.

The Nitto NT 555 Extreme would be a good choice from discount tire.

If you could swing it, this is what I would recommend:

Best tires I have ever had. They run 239/tire from discount, but there is a $50 rebate from BFG, so you would be looking at ~$900 for all 4.

I love that aggresive tread on those BFGs I might have to invest. Do you think they would hold up long, because I know they have a low tread wear being soft compound.

They have a 300 tread wear rating. That is pretty good really. On the 17" KDWs I got about 20k miles, they have a 300 tread wear rating as well. How long they hold up will depend a lot on your driving style as well, plus rotating them in a timely manner will help also.
Those are the tires I currently have, and love the aggressive pattern as well, get lots of compliments on it.

I have had a set of BFG KDWs that lasted somewhere close to 3 years and around 30k miles. They still had tread on them when I just bought new tires, but they were starting to crack. They have also seen about 30 track passes 25 of which I have done a small burnout on. So I think they last fairly well good DD tire if you are in the warmer parts of the world.
