Check with tire rack,I have had good wet traction with the sumitomo htr+ that are on the car now,but they didn't wear as well as the fusion zri that were on it previously.the fusions did good in the wet too even when worn completely out.

I like Michelin Pilot Sport Plus A/S. Best all season tire I have driven in that price range, handles sudden puddles much better than the Sumitomos that were on the car previously. They give a very smooth ride and have a 45k mile rating.

My michelin pilot a/s didn't even last 15,000 miles, depends on how you drive
Onlinetires has the cheapest prices around, find a tire store near you that price matches and you're good to go.

Had yokohama 4000's, noisy and greasy at the track. Now I have Nitto NT555's and love them. Quiet, great traction, good wet traction, and did well at the track. I think it was 2nd cheapest in price from the fuzions for much more traction.

I'm trying to decide between the nitto 555 and michelin pilot sport a/s,nitto is considerably cheaper but the michelins have a 500 treadwear rating vs 300 for the 555s.so are the michelins worth the extra $400?

IMO, no. I have Nitto 555 315's on the rear and 275's on the front. they grip great, wet weather is WAY better than the Kuhmo's that were on it when I got the car but still a little slick.

PA weather...tires?
Ok, I have stock 10 spokes at all 4 corners and I'm looking for a tire that will grip when heated up and will also do great in the rain. This is the first time I'm buying tires for the SS and I have no clue what brand to look at. I have been on tire rack looking but I'm still not sure. My fronts have under a half inch of tread and the rears are at about a quater inch lol. They are Super Sports that came on the car when I bought it from the previous owner, they don't grip for shyte!!!
Opinions are gladly welcomed and with maybe a reason or two to back up your decision.
Thanks guys,
molecularmann

The Nittos are a harder compound so their wet weather traction isn't all that great. Previous owner put Kuhmos on it and they didn't grip worth a damn but they were fun smoking before the Nitto's went on!
