    Question Sumitomo 315s 35/17

Anyone have any good or bad comments about these?

And are there any street tires out there available in 325s?

    I hated them.
Of course, I am yet to find a street tire that will hold 3rd gear, so I guess they might not be all that bad.

Although, you get what you pay for with those.

I am gonna buy those with my black zr-1s. There only $96 per rear tire, and they will only be my summer rims/tires anyway.

Like Mr. Luos said, you get what you pay for with tires. Bf-goodrich and goodyear make some good 315/35/17 tires.

I still have them from when I bought my car. They last alot longer than others but they suck for launching. There way to hard.

Yeah I think they will be just right for me. I only use them for street driving. I have a set of MT ET streets on 16" rims for the strip anyways. Thanks guys.

You won't be able to touch the gas pedal with those tires.

I run Nitto DR's as a street tire.

Mr. Luos, you don't have to rub it in everyones face man. LOL

The guy just wants street tires that are round and 315 size. He has 100 less rwhp than you so I don't think he needs DR for the street.

I personally think its fun being able to smoke the tires at 50 with them but being able to launch would be better

I assumed more power from his screen name. 418LS1 makes me think plenty of cubes.

Wasn't trying to rub anything in, I just figured he was at a similiar power output as me.

Yep it is now. I dropped 58ftlbs of torque and 28 hp from switching to a Torquer vs.II cam. Yeah I have a problem..... I have a bit of trouble shooting to do. I should have gained power from that 224 cam that I had.
