*UPDATED* Some tires for my future rims
UPDATED: So since my original wheel that I have chosen wasn't ideal for gripping and performance, I decided to go with these C6 Replica rims:
The rims are 17x9.5. The suggested tire size is 275/40-17. I need some all season tires (Summer tires might work as well, I live in South Cali), that will do good in the rain for my daily driving, as well as some performance when the sun is out. Something that is not going to break the bank. What are my choices for tires, and what specs shall I be looking at? Thank you in advance for your feedback.Last edited by M-ManLA; 05-07-2009 at 01:58 PM. Reason: New rims selected

I think you want a 9" wide rim for that 275 tire.
And the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KD tire is a popular choice.

Oh no I think it is actually 7.5. Good thing I asked. Check the site out maybe you can tell me what to do.

i wouldn't put anything wider than a 235 or 245 on a 7.5" wheel - keep looking, you can find a much nicer wheel than that that will actually fit the car properly.

Doesn't look like a good choice to me. The offset isn't specified, and they aren't made specifically for F-bodys, so they will probably be tucked too far under the fenders.
A 7.5" wheel is way to small for 275 tire. I had 285's on my 9.5" wheels, and those were a very tight fit. No way you're getting a 275 on a 7.5".
For the price you can find some much, much nicer wheels than that. If you'd like a couple links send me a PM.

7.5" is pretty narrow, like already mentioned I would be surprised to see a 275 tire fit on it. I would keep looking for something alittle wider. I just bought a set of TSW wheels and like them alot.

Yea I am finding out I have to change my rim type now lol. Anyone have any links or something. I would like the rims to be futuristic looking like the ones that I have picked out. Something nice, about a 17" (or even 18"), that I will be able to put on some 275 tires on it for good performance.
