Ruff Racing wheels
Well im in the market for some new rims and I came across the hyper black ruff racing 278's. My only problem is I have no idea where to find them. I did a search on here and all i saw was ebay. I'd rather get them from some sort of dealer. Can anyone help me out? I'm looking to get 18x9.5 all around. And the bolt pattern for a 2001 ss camaro is 120.65 correct? or would 120 fit? If anyone has any info on this it would be much appreciated.

the ruff wheels are 5.120 and the fbody pattern is 5x120.65 - they will still work just fine but are technically not "recommended". just make sure you check the torque often enough to make sure the lugs arent workign themselves loose.

i would steer away from them.. since the bolt pattern is not the proper one.
meaning that the wheel-nut is exercising more force on one side rather than uniformely... causing, what some people experience, wheel nuts to get loose... so torque them often and check them constantly.
I wouldn't go for it... just get wheels w/ proper bolt pattern.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

DUDE,
I've been running RUFF'S for over a year and never had a problem, I've checked the wheels plenty of times and never been loose.......... Lot's of F-bodies running RUFF's
and yes they run them on Porsches because it's a trusted wheel for 150+mph
oh yeah I think it was VQ motoring I bought my wheels from
they were a sponsor on a Corvett forum

Not the same. The guys who mod Porsche's are RUF ... http://www.rufautocentre.com/ ... and don't expect anything from them to be $750 for the "whole set".
this is from a BMW forum ...
Ruff is whack..they are overseas crap that is a private label to Good Roads in Florida. And it's called Ruff wheels, after the owner..Last edited by Mean Green Z28; 12-08-2008 at 07:15 AM.
