    99 camaro

    Question on what tire size to put on new wheels?

    I ended up buying the chrome c6 corvette wheels but could only get them in an 18x8.5 in the front and 19x10 in the rear until November so I want to know what is the best tire size to put on front and rear to make it look the best. Thanks for any help.

    in the front i would run 255/35/18 and in the rear I would run 295/30/19.

    I have 18x8.5 f rims with 245/40r18 bfg kdw nt's I and they fit the rum perfect.I know some brands run thinner than others so depending on you tire choice you may want to go wider. Not sure on your rears since mine are 18x10's. But the 285 or 295/30 should be perfect width and height for that rim size.

    it actually makes the front tire sidewall slightly taller but correct it is not as wide. i run 255/40/18 F and 295/35/18 R on my car

    Only tire the local tire shop can get in those sizes is a hankook v12. Is this a good tire?
